My beautiful bead was found at the Paraparaumu library in New Zealand, I was putting it in lost property when we found out it was free to a good home, everyone decided for me that I was to have it!

My bead found me in Springdale, Utah. I don't know what it will end up yet. I do know it will be with me for a long time :)

We were on our way to Bryce Canyon for a hike, and stopped at the first pullout near Zion Canyon National Park on May 15th.
At the interpretive sign, we noticed a small bag with a really cool 'tree frog' in it, and at first thought someone had dropped a sovenir by accident.
We were surprised by the find, and now have it as an unexpected souvenir of our travels.

I found a beautiful little glass urn in the ladies' lavatory where I work. I will wear it on a chain --maybe its maker will notice her handiwork and tell me more about her craft.

I am going to try to get other beaders in my community (Terre Haute, Indiana) to participate in the bead release project. I also teach 2 summer bead making classes at the Swope Art Museum to kids. We make a variety of different beads during class; I think the culmination of our class should be having the kids go out and release beads into the community as well. Spreading art around should be a great eye opener to our community!

What a fun project! A little bee told me that some were making their way to the wilds of Japan and Korea.
Cheers,
Susie
